About Joni Lucci M.Ed., LPC
Joan Lucci began pursuing her passion for helping others attain health and wellness by earning a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology at the University of Central Florida. She spent several years working with clients to improve their physical health via weight management, strength training, and aerobic conditioning. After recognizing the impact that mental health has on physical health she pursued and obtained her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University. No stranger to stressful life experiences she has devoted much of her life to her own spiritual development as well. Joan believes that healing and growth occur by working on all three aspects of one’s being: the mind, body, and spirit. Therefore she uses a holistic approach in working with her clients. By integrating her education, specialized training in cognitive behavioral therapy and grief therapy, and personal life experience she collaborates with clients to identify, address, and overcome obstacles to a more fulfilling life.
